Founded in 1979, the Edison Sheltered Workshop provides vocational rehabilitation services to people with disabilities who are residents of Middlesex County and at Least 16 years of age.


Meeting the Needs
of the Business Community

Occupational training and remunerative employment are provided as a means of fostering increased independence, social integration, self-confidence and economic self-sufficiency.

ESW is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals who have disabilities by preparing them for employment in an integrated community or extended (sheltered) employment environment, through vocational rehabilitation and a supervised work experience.

ESW is committed to assisting people with disabilities lead more active and productive lives in the community.
